Dancing: Expression Through Non-Verbal Communication
To those who know me very well, they know that I absolutely love to boogie. It may even be an addiction. I am Filipino and music is represented in my culture, especially through movement. I use dance as a way to lighten the mood, shake any emotion away and of coarse, to stay active. It is a way to express emotion without verbal communication. And when I say that I love to dance, I mean that I love to dance anywhere. I take a variety of classes at my local gym, such as, Zumba, contemporary, hip-hop, etc. Sometimes I'll hear a song play in the grocery store and I'll casually bop while no one is watching.
