Paul, Liz and I produced a re-make of "A Vision of Students" initially created in 2007 by Dr. Michael Wesch, an associate professor of cultural anthropology at Kansas State University. During the process, we all conversed as a team about what it is like to be a student in 2019. We then put all of our thoughts on paper, creating signs to showcase in our video. Our main focus was that institutions need to implement courses or workshops on maintaining mental health throughout the school year. We tie in that students spend an average of 32 hours a week on education while working anywhere between 20 to 40 hours a week. With these numbers in play, there is barely any time for a healthy and balanced social life. Education can be exerting. Hopefully this project can shed some light, create awareness and make a difference in the future of students.
